I dare anyone to think of a glass of wine, and not have the mind conjure up pictures of endless vines cascading into a beautiful amber landscape. Grapes entangled and ripe, draped next to a sparkling delicately stemmed glass of red or pale yellow. Sunshine and old farm architecture with wooden posts and rolling barrels.

Wine brings us to a place of peace and tranquility while reenforcing the beauty in our world. A symbol of joy and camaraderie as far back as the Bible, wine is something to savor and share. I too as an artist am brought to inspiration when thinking of wine. Wine is love, as odd as that may seem.

I encourage you to travel to a vineyard, or spend the day at a winery, taking in the scents and the view of the land where the wine is harvested. The serenity is palatable and in itself can be your muse. Bring your palette and brush and recreate the beauty of nature for yourself, so that you can enjoy the landscape at any time, adorned upon your wall.
